Alpbach

Why look so far away, when the best is so close-by? Our Alpbach!

Numerous interesting and beautiful destinations occupy the surroundings of the Alpbacherhof Hotel. To discover an impressive locale, you need look no further than the village itself. After all, you are on holiday in the village which was selected as the "most beautiful village in Austria" by the TV competition on ORF - due to the preserved, unified wooden building style and the marvellous flower display all around.

Alpbach is the only village in Tyrol having the traditional Tyrolean style architecture. All buildings in the village, with the exception of the conference centre, only use mortar construction for the ground floor. All other floors are built out of wood. The practice gives the village a particularly charming appearance. In summer, cheery, colourful flowers illuminate the wooden balconies all around. Alpbach has been selected as the "most beautiful village of flowers in Europe" for its magnificent displays.
